Delete inside MoneyFoam

Open MoneyFoam and sign in to the account you want to delete.
Open Settings from the Profile tab.
Scroll down and tap Delete account and cloud data.
Review the warning and confirm Delete permanently.

If Google requires recent authentication, sign out, sign back in, and repeat these steps. Clearing local data is not the same as deleting your cloud account.

Request deletion without the app

Email moneyfoam.support@gmail.com from the Google email address used for MoneyFoam. Use the subject “MoneyFoam account deletion request” and ask us to delete the account. Do not send passwords, OTPs, bank account numbers, or transaction details. We may request a safe verification step before acting so that another person cannot delete your account.

Data deleted

After a verified deletion, MoneyFoam deletes the Firebase Authentication account and the active Firestore user record, including its transaction, budget, and settings collections. In-app deletion also removes that account's MoneyFoam cache, pending sync outbox, and local Gmail connection state from the device.

Important device and Google controls

An email request cannot erase files from a phone that is offline or no longer accessible. Uninstall MoneyFoam or clear its app data to remove any remaining device-only cache. Deleting MoneyFoam does not automatically revoke the Gmail permission grant held by your Google Account; you can remove that access separately from your Google Account's third-party connections page.

Limited retention

Deletion removes your information from MoneyFoam's active account records. The support email thread and a minimal record needed to verify or document the request may be retained as reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and request handling. Limited copies may also remain temporarily in Google/Firebase backups or security logs according to those providers' retention practices.
